1. A method, comprising:
generating an estimated angular position of a rotor of a motor;
generating an error signal indicating error in the estimated angular position;
determining an adjustment amount associated with an estimated torque-producing component of motor winding current of a stator of the motor;
generating an adjustment signal corresponding to the determined adjustment amount;
combining the error signal and the adjustment signal to generate a corrected error signal; and
correcting the estimated angular position responsive to the corrected error signal.
