1. An integrated combustion assembly, comprising:
a mounting flange mountable to a surface of a combustion chamber, the mounting flange including a mounting face and a back face;
a fuel and combustion air source operatively coupled to the mounting flange, the fuel and combustion air source including at least one main fuel nozzle and a combustion air source;
one or more first supports operatively coupled to the mounting flange at first end portions of the one or more first supports and extending from and substantially normal to the mounting face of the mounting flange;
a mixing tube operatively coupled to second end portions of the one or more first supports, the one or more first supports supporting the mixing tube a first distance spaced from the mounting flange, an inlet of the mixing tube aligned proximate the at least one main fuel nozzle and aligned to receive a main fuel and combustion air and disposed to facilitate mixing of the main fuel and the combustion air along substantially the entire length of the mixing tube between the inlet of the mixing tube and an outlet of the mixing tube;
one or more second supports operatively coupled to the mixing tube and longitudinally extending from the outlet end of the mixing tube; and
a distal flame holder supported by the one or more second supports at a second distance from the outlet of the mixing tube, the distal flame holder being positioned at a third predetermined distance (dd) from the mounting face of the mounting flange, wherein,
the at least one main fuel nozzle and the combustion air source are respectively configured to introduce the main fuel and the combustion air to the mixing tube in co-flow at or proximate to the inlet of the mixing tube.
