1. A pipe breaking assembly, comprising:
a housing, having an internal tapered housing surface;
a cable gripping anchor including a number of tapered anchor jaws that are movable against the tapered housing surface;
a pipe splitter having a front opening for a pulling cable, the pipe splitter located in front of the housing;
a replacement pipe coupling located at a back end of the housing, the replacement pipe coupling adapted to hold a trailing replacement pipe; and
a lubricant passage exiting the pipe breaking assembly from between moving components of a rotating joint located between the pipe splitter and the housing.
