1. A method for adjusting a habitable structure comprising:
providing a habitation system comprising:
a habitable chamber;
a monopole including a single column, the column including:
a first end in communication with the habitable chamber; and
a second end, opposite the first end, the second end for mounting in a sea bed;
a first motor in communication with the column for moving the habitable chamber substantially vertically; and
a second motor in communication with the column for moving the habitable chamber rotationally;
tethering the column to a plurality of anchors in contact with a surface, each anchor tethered via one or more cables; and
activating at least the second motor to rotate the habitable chamber to accommodate a wind direction and creating a protected area for the habitable chamber.
