1. A method of modulating a trait in a dicotyledonous plant, said method comprising
introducing into a dicotyledonous plant cell an exogenous nucleic acid, said exogenous nucleic acid comprising a regulatory region operably linked to a nucleotide sequence encoding a polypeptide having 95 percent or greater sequence identity to an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:3 and SEQ ID NO:634;
producing a dicotyledonous plant from said dicotyledonous plant cell; and
selecting a dicotyledonous plant for increased low light tolerance or SD+EODFR tolerance as compared to a dicotyledonous control plant that does not comprise said nucleic acid.
