1. An aqueous ink comprising one or more film forming agents, wherein the total film forming agent concentration in the aqueous ink is from 0.1 to 30 wt. %;
wherein the one or more film forming agents as such fulfil at least one of the following properties:
i) a Young modulus of at least 2 GPa, as obtained by measurement of a dry film consisting of the one or more film forming agents, wherein the dry film is obtained by mixing the one or more film forming agents with monoethylene glycol, wetting agent, and optionally water to obtain a mixture, and drying the mixture in a drying oven such that the dry film is obtained, and
ii) a nano hardness of at least 0.08 GPa, as obtained by measurement of a dry film consisting of the one or more film forming agents, wherein the dry film is obtained by mixing the one or more film forming agents with monoethylene glycol, wetting agent, and optionally water to obtain a mixture, and drying the mixture in a drying oven such that the dry film is obtained, and
wherein the ink further comprises one or more emulsifiers, wherein the one or more emulsifiers are fatty acid esters of polyalkoxylated sorbitan.
