1. A radiation system, comprising:
a storage device including a set of instructions; and
a processor in communication with the storage device, wherein when executing the set of instructions, the processor is configured to cause the radiation system to:
obtain a treatment plan of an object;
cause a rotary ring to rotate around the object; and
control, based on the treatment plan, an emission of a treatment radiation source and an imaging radiation source mounted on the rotary ring, to control the emission of the treatment radiation source, the processor is configured to cause the radiation system to:
partition a target tissue of the object into one or more subvolumes, a subvolume of the one or more subvolumes is a substantially spherical core subvolume that requires little collimator adjustment as a function of beam incidence angle;
adjust a position of the subvolume such that a center of the subvolume overlaps with a rotational isocenter of the treatment radiation source; and
treat the subvolume and at least one other subvolume of the one or more subvolumes serially.
