1. An apparatus, comprising:
a headset for transcranial brain stimulation including electrodes configured to perform transcranial brain stimulation to a brain of a user;
a memory; and
a processor operatively coupled to the memory and the headset for transcranial brain stimulation, the processor configured to:
extract, using a model, features of a head of the user from an image of at least a portion of the head of the user;
compare the features of the head of the user to information pertaining to a plurality of predetermined models of heads, each of the plurality of predetermined models including information pertaining to an optimal positioning of the electrodes of the headset for transcranial brain stimulation for that predetermined model;
identify a predetermined model of the plurality of predetermined models that has a best fit with the head of the user based on comparing the features of the head of the user to the information pertaining to the plurality of predetermined models;
determine a target placement for placing the electrodes of the headset for transcranial brain stimulation on the head of the user based on the predetermined model having the best fit with the head of the user;
generate a visual representation of the target placement on the head of the user to indicate to the user the placement of the headset for transcranial brain stimulation; and
generate, subsequent to the headset being positioned on the head of the user within a threshold of the target placement, a control signal for the headset such that the transcranial brain stimulation is performed by the headset.
