1. A method (200) for making an elongated bio-degradable means (100), said method (200) comprising:
providing a dried leaf (100L);
exposing the dried leaf (100L) to at least one of steaming and boiling to form a dried leaf (100L) and to generate natural wax in the dried leaf (100L);
separating a plurality of dried leaflets from a midrib of the dried leaf (100L);
separating at least one dried leaf strip (100S) from at least one dried leaflet of the plurality of dried leaflets;
applying a bonding agent comprising a food grade water resistant adhesive, at least at one edge portion of the at least one dried leaf strip (100S) with respect to a length wise direction of the at least one dried leaf strip (100S); and
rolling the at least one dried leaf strip (100S) along an elongated guide member (R) and joining the edge portion of the at least one dried leaf strip (100S) so that the bonding agent attaches the edge portion with a corresponding portion of the at least one dried leaf strip (100S) to form the elongated bio-degradable means (100) comprising at least one of a drinking straw, a stirrer, and a chop stick.
