1. A jewelry apparatus for illuminating skin of a wearer comprising:
a housing;
a light source, wherein
the light source is predominately hidden in the housing;
the light source is configured to emit light onto the skin of the wearer through an opening in the housing; and
a path of the light is unobstructed, except by the housing, to preserve all visible properties of the emitted light, including the visible properties imparted onto the light via reflection from an inside surface of the housing.
