1. A method performed by a source node adapted to operate in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
acquiring information related to power consumption of a wireless device;
transmitting a first message for initiation of handover;
receiving a second message in response to the first message; and
triggering the handover by transmitting a radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration message to the wireless device,
wherein the first message includes information related to energy efficiency of the wireless device,
wherein the information related to the energy efficiency of the wireless device is based on the information related to the power consumption of the wireless device, and
wherein the information related to the energy efficiency of the wireless device includes an estimated power consumption value based on at least one of a link configuration, a scheduling record and/or throughput/data volume information for the wireless device.
