1. A compressor, comprising:
a case;
a drive unit fixed to an inside of the case to rotate a rotational shaft;
an orbiting scroll including an orbiting end plate that rotatably supports the rotational shaft, and an orbiting wrap that extends from one surface of the orbiting end plate toward an outer circumferential surface of the orbiting end plate; and
a fixed scroll including a fixed end plate fixed to the case, and a fixed wrap that extends to compress the refrigerant in engagement with the orbiting wrap on the fixed end plate portion, wherein the fixed wrap comprises:
a variable area in which a thickness of the fixed wrap decreases and then increases with respect to an area adjacent to the variable area between an inner end and an outer end of the fixed wrap, and/or in which a separation distance from the orbiting wrap is increased between the inner end and the outer end of the fixed wrap, wherein the variable area of the fixed wrap is formed such that a first area thinner than the inner end of the fixed wrap, a second area thinner than the first area, and a third area thicker than the second area are disposed along a direction from the inner end to the outer end of the fixed wrap.

8. A compressor, comprising:
a case;
a drive unit fixed to an inside of the case to rotate a rotational shaft;
an orbiting scroll including an orbiting end plate that rotatably supports the rotational shaft, and an orbiting wrap that extends from one surface of the orbiting end plate toward an outer circumferential surface of the orbiting end plate; and
a fixed scroll including a fixed end plate fixed to the case, and a fixed wrap that extends to compress the refrigerant in engagement with the orbiting wrap on the fixed end plate portion, wherein the fixed wrap comprises:
a variable area in which a thickness of the fixed wrap decreases and then increases with respect to an area adjacent to the variable area between an inner end and an outer end of the fixed wrap, and/or in which a separation distance from the orbiting wrap is increased between the inner end and the outer end of the fixed wrap, wherein the fixed wrap is provided with an offset portion for increasing the separation distance from the orbiting wrap between the outer end and the inner end of the fixed wrap.
