1. A method for interacting with a playset, the method comprising:
acquiring, using a first sensor on a mobile device, first data corresponding to the playset by reading a near field communication (NFC) tag disposed on the playset;
acquiring second data corresponding to a first physical object disposed within the playset;
selecting a virtual presentation from a plurality of virtual presentations to display on a display of the mobile device based on a comparison of a feature of the playset to attributes of the plurality of virtual presentations, wherein the feature of the playset is determined based on the first data and the second data, wherein the plurality of virtual presentations is stored within a memory of the mobile device;
displaying, on the display, the virtual presentation while the mobile device is mounted with the playset, wherein the virtual presentation comprises virtual content corresponding to at least one of an interior of the playset and the first physical object;
detecting, using a second sensor of the mobile device, a position of a user relative to the mobile device while the mobile device is mounted to the playset; and
displaying, on the display of the mobile device, an updated virtual presentation based on the position of the user.
