1. A system for positioning an imaging device, the system comprising:
the imaging device configured to generate an image of an anatomical region;
a controller configured to control the positioning of the imaging device relative to the anatomical region, the controller configured to:
in response to generation of the image of the anatomical region, extract a physiological condition of the anatomical region from the image of the anatomical region, and
adapt cycling of the positioning of the imaging device between a position with imaging functionality of the imaging device activated and a position with the imaging functionality of the imaging device deactivated based on the physiological condition of the anatomical region.

10. A controller for positioning an imaging device relative to an anatomical region, the controller comprising:
a processor communicatively coupled to memory, the processor configured to:
in response to generation of an image of the anatomical region by the imaging device, extract a physiological condition of the anatomical region from the image of the anatomical region, and
adapt cycling of the positioning of the imaging device between a position with imaging functionality of the imaging device activated and a position with the imaging functionality of the imaging device deactivated based on the physiological condition of the anatomical region.
