[ 6. An automatic transmission comprising:
a division wall;
a drive-side gear;
a driven-side gear;
a chain which is wound on the drive-side gear and the driven-side gear; and
a baffle plate,
wherein the baffle plate is provided with a base portion which covers a range larger than an outer diameter of the chain,
wherein, as viewed from a direction of a rotational axis of the driven-side gear, the chain is positioned more on a front side than the base portion of the baffle plate,
wherein, as viewed from the direction of the rotational axis of the driven-side gear, an end surface of the division wall is positioned more on the front side than the base portion of the baffle plate,
wherein, as viewed from the direction of the rotational axis of the driven-side gear, the baffle plate includes a wall portion extending more on the front side than the base portion of the baffle plate between the drive-side gear and the driven-side gear, and
wherein, as viewed from the direction of the rotation axis of the driven-side gear, the division wall is disposed to extend across the chain, and an outer periphery of the division wall is located on an outside in a radial direction of the baffle plate with the rotation axis as a reference. ]
