1. A user equipment (UE) for wireless communication, comprising:
one or more memories; and
one or more processors operatively coupled to the one or more memories and configured, individually or collectively, to cause the UE to:
receive, from a network entity, system information or radio resource control signaling that includes configuration information related to a random access procedure, wherein the configuration information includes a physical random access channel (PRACH) mask configuration that is based at least in part on a random access occasion (RO) density in a time and frequency domain in a cell served by the network entity; and
perform the random access procedure based at least in part on the configuration information.
