22 Claims

1. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) comprising circuitry, including a transmitter, a receiver, a processor and memory, wherein the WTRU is configured to:

receive first broadcasted system information from a network, the first broadcasted system information comprising an onboarding support indicator;

receive, from the network, second broadcasted system information comprising one or more group identifiers;

select the network for an onboarding operation based on receiving the onboarding support indicator and on condition that at least a group identifier provisioned in the WTRU matches one of the one or more group identifiers;

send, to the network, a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising a first onboarding indication and a non-access stratum (NAS) registration request part comprising a second onboarding indication;

receive, from the network via a protocol data unit (PDU) session, standalone non-public network (SNPN) credentials for an SNPN; and
