1. A method for managing quality of service (QOS) in a communication network, comprising:
receiving a plurality of data flows related to at least one application associated with a user equipment (UE);
identifying at least one data flow, from the plurality of data flows, that requires QoS management related to the at least one application based on an analysis of at least one of a plurality of attributes related to the at least one application;
classifying the at least one data flow into a QoS class associated with the at least one application;
prioritizing the at least one data flow based on the QoS class; and
validating the QoS class after modifying parameters associated with a transport layer by monitoring the plurality of data flows and re-evaluating the QoS class.
