1. A method of decoding an image performed by a decoding apparatus, the method comprising:
determining a resolution of a motion vector for a current block;
deriving a motion vector predictor corresponding to the resolution;
adjusting a motion vector difference of the current block based on the resolution;
deriving a motion vector of the current block based on the derived motion vector predictor and the adjusted motion vector difference; and
predicting the current block based on the motion vector of the current block,
wherein the resolution is determined as a resolution candidate specified by a predetermined index from among a plurality of resolution candidates, and
wherein the plurality of resolution candidates is defined differently based on whether a reference picture of the current block is a current picture or not.
