1. A system comprising:
one or more processing devices; and
a non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium storing instructions which, when executed by the one or more processing devices, cause the one or more processing devices to perform operations comprising:
identifying a first set of metadata specifications that comprise a plurality of data element definitions;
transmitting the first set of metadata specifications to a remote system;
for the remote system, performing an operation flow that is to occur in response to a detection at the remote system of a defined event, the operation flow comprising:
transmitting, to the remote system, one or more references to a first subset of the first set of metadata specifications, where the first subset of the first set of metadata specifications comprises specifications of interface elements, and the transmitting the one or more references causes the remote system to configure an interface in accordance with the specifications of interface elements;
receiving, from the remote system, one or more responses to the transmitting of the one or more references, the one or more responses comprising data collected by the remote system in conjunction with the defined event; and
upon determination that the one or more responses satisfy a set of one or more parameter constraints, controlling access of the remote system or an agent system to a resource in accordance with a protocol, or, upon determination that the one or more responses fail to satisfy the set of one or more parameter constraints, transmitting an alert to the remote system that is indicative of at least one of the one or more references and/or one or more additional references to a second subset of the first set of metadata specifications; and
subsequent to the performing of the operational flow, changing requirements corresponding to one or more subsequent operational flows based at least in part on transmitting a second set of metadata specifications or one or more references to a third subset of the first set of metadata specifications to the remote system.
