1. A method for a distributed Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) service and one or more cloud services, the method implemented by a cloud node in a cloud-based system, the method comprising steps of:
communicating with a user associated with a tenant of a plurality of tenants; obtaining policy and configuration for the user based on the tenant, from a central authority in the cloud-based system;
providing the one or more cloud services made available on-demand to the user, based on the policy and configuration via the cloud node wherein the cloud node is configured inline between a user device of the user and the internet and connected to the one or more cloud providers, and wherein the cloud nodes are configured as a server; and
crawling one or more cloud providers having a plurality of files for the user, based on the policy and configuration.
