1. A method comprising:
receiving event reports from client devices, wherein each event report comprises a share of a secret indicating a location identifier for a location at which a corresponding client device was detected after presenting a digital component associated with geofence data indicating the location;
determining that at least a threshold number of event reports that include respective shares of a same given secret for a given digital component have been received;
determining the given secret using each share of the given secret; and
updating a location event measurement for the given digital component based on the event reports that include the respective shares of the given secret.
