1. A system for determining a mass outage in a network, the system comprising:
a non-transitory computer readable medium configured to store instructions thereon; and
a processor connected to the non-transitory computer readable medium, wherein the processor is configured to execute the instructions for:
receiving alarm data, wherein the alarm data is related to equipment in a telecommunication network;
receiving at least one correlation rule, wherein each of the at least one correlation rule is associated with a corresponding rule identification (ID);
receiving at least one mass outage rule, wherein each mass outage rule of the at least one mass outage rule is associated with a correlation rule of the at least one correlation rule using the rule ID;
performing a first aggregation using the received alarm data based on at least one parameter selected from the group consisting of a domain, and a vendor;
associating each of the aggregated alarm data with a corresponding correlation rule of the at least one correlation rule;
determining a number of pieces of equipment in the telecommunication network that are associated with each of the at least one correlation rule;
determining whether the determined number of pieces of equipment is equal to or greater than at least one threshold value, wherein the at least one threshold value is specified by a mass outage rule corresponding to the rule ID of the corresponding correlation rule;
automatically generating an incident report in response to the determined number of pieces of equipment being equal to or greater than the at least one threshold value;
identifying a piece of equipment from the number of pieces of equipment for remote resetting based on the rule ID; and
wirelessly transmitting a resetting signal to the piece of equipment for resetting the piece of equipment.
