1. A method for spectrum sharing among a terrestrial cellular network and a non-terrestrial network, the method comprising:
receiving, by a user equipment (UE), a message that assigns a bandwidth part to be activated for communication with a base station of the terrestrial cellular network, wherein
the bandwidth part is selected from a plurality of bandwidth parts comprising a first bandwidth part and a second bandwidth part; and
the terrestrial cellular network is a 5G New Radio (NR) radio access technology cellular network;
performing, by the UE, communications with the base station of the terrestrial cellular network using the assigned bandwidth part;
performing, by the UE, communications with a satellite of the non-terrestrial network using a third bandwidth part, wherein:
the third bandwidth part overlaps with the first bandwidth part used to communicate with the base station; and
the third bandwidth part does not overlap with the second bandwidth part used to communication with the base station.
