1. An electronically steerable optical device comprising:
a reflector disk; and
a plurality of optical sources implemented on a plurality of optical die and mechanically positioned at a focal plane of the reflector disk, wherein:
each optical die of the plurality of optical die comprises a plurality of epitaxial layers; and
each plurality of epitaxial layers includes at least one of gallium arsenide (GaAs), gallium nitride (GaN), and gallium antimonide (GaSb).
