1. A method for use with a device comprising:
producing, by an accelerometer, an output signal responsive to the device acceleration;
emitting, by a visible light emitter, a visible light for signaling a first status to a person;
affecting, by an electric motor, a physical movement;
executing, by a processor, software;
receiving, by the processor, the output signal from the accelerometer;
activating or controlling, by the processor, the visible light emitter and the electric motor, in response to the output signal;
powering, by a rechargeable battery, the device; and
contactless charging, by an induction-based battery charger, the rechargeable battery,
wherein the device comprises a single handheld enclosure that houses the accelerometer, the electric motor, the processor, the rechargeable battery, and the battery charger.
