1. A solar light beam distribution system comprising a plurality of optical elements including:
at least one solar collector that collects solar energy;
at least one collimator that receives the solar energy from the at least one solar collector and collimates the solar energy into a collimated light beam having a flux density adjustable as a function of one or more optical properties of one or more of the plurality of optical elements;
at least one redirector controlled by at least one pathway switch coupled with one or more sensors and a triggering module having a processor and software instructions stored in a non-transitory computer readable medium, wherein the software instructions, upon execution by the processor, cause the triggering module to change a state of the at least one pathway switch as a function of sensor data from the one or more sensors operable to sense one or more physical movements, physical manipulations, changes in physical conditions, or sounds, wherein the state of the at least one pathway switch changes to redirect the collimated light beam through one or more different underground pathways; and
at least one converter that receives the collimated light beam via the one or more different underground pathways and converts the light beam into heat.
