6. A method for compensating for reflection on a display device, comprising:
capturing one or more images of a scene facing a display device;
identifying from the captured images a reflection-inducing zone located within the scene facing the display device, wherein identifying the reflection-inducing zone includes using a head or eye position of a viewer to identify the reflection-inducing zone;
determining specular reflection effect on the display device caused by the reflection-inducing zone, wherein the specular reflection effect is represented by luminance values of a veil image; and
adjusting a target image to be displayed on the display device based on the determined specular reflection effect, wherein adjusting the target image includes comparing the luminance values of the veil image to luminance values of a corresponding area of the target image.
