1. An apparatus comprising:
at least one processor configured to control:
receiving, over a communication network from a remote computing device of a secondary player, at least one criterion for selecting a game;
receiving, over the communication network from a plurality of second remote computing devices, first data describing a first plurality of games;
in response to receiving the at least one criterion, determining using the first data whether a first game of the first plurality of games matches the at least one criterion, in which the first game is to be played using a first gaming device by a first primary player;
determining odds for wagers that a first event will occur in the first game;
presenting, to the secondary player over the communication network through the remote computing device, the odds with a live video of the first game;
receiving, over the communication network from the remote computing device, a first bet by the secondary player, in which the first bet includes a bet that the first event will occur during the first game and is based at least in part on the odds;
receiving, over the communication network from a given second remote computing device of the plurality of second remote computing devices, second data indicating events in the first game;
in response to receiving the second data and the first bet, determining whether the first event occurs during the first game; and
in response to determining whether the first event occurs during the first game, determining whether to provide a first payout to the secondary player.
