1. A development support device comprising:
circuitry to execute a program; and
a memory to store the program which, when executed by the circuitry, performs processes of:
analyzing a described matter in a development document created in a development process, and specifying a function described in the development document;
specifying a model corresponding to the specified function, and generating a plurality of components conforming to a standardized format with respect to the specified model by using an analysis result of the described matter;
incorporating a component selected from the plurality of components in accordance with the format to generate the specified model; and
specifying an input component and an input function in an input model different from the specified model, the input component being a component constituting the input model, the input function being a function corresponding to the input component,
wherein:
the input component is used as at least a part of the plurality of components of the specified model when the specified function matches the input function, and
the analyzing includes comparing the described matter in the development document with a document table stored in the memory to determine an association of the development document with an existing product development process,
wherein the comparing the described matter in the development document with the document table includes extracting text portions and diagram portions of the development document to extract the function described in the development document, and
wherein:
the document table stores data of a plurality of known development documents,
the document table includes an identification number column, a document name column, a preceding document column, a following document column, and a relative document column, and
the relative document column stores a document number of one or more of the plurality of known development documents having a horizontal association with the development document.
