1. A method performed by a distributed verification system for supporting verification of automated driving system, ADS, features within specific operational design domains, ODDs, the method comprising:
identifying, at one or more ADS-equipped vehicles connected via a peer-to-peer blockchain network, a respective at least first verification instruction pertinent to an at least first specified ODD of a specified ADS feature, the at least first verification instruction being a test instruction, the at least first specified ODD being unverified;
collecting, by at least a first vehicle of the one or more vehicles, verification data from execution by the at least first vehicle of the at least first verification instruction while the specified ADS feature is at least one of: active within, or in association with, the at least first specified ODD;
generating, at the at least first vehicle, a verification result transaction to be added to a distributed ledger of the peer-to-peer blockchain network, the verification result transaction comprising verification information derived from the verification data along with at least one of information of circumstances and configuration of the at least first vehicle associated with the verification data; and
when consensus of the verification result transaction is reached on the network, adding the verification result transaction to the distributed ledger.
