1. An adjustment subassembly for an adjustable gas block system for a gas operating system of a firearm, wherein the adjustable gas block system includes a gas block assembly, the adjustment subassembly comprising:
a valve stem end including:
a front-most portion,
a middle portion, and
a rear-most portion, the front-most portion being larger in diameter than the rear-most portion, and the middle portion being lesser in diameter than the rear-most portion,
a boss extending from a forward portion of the valve stem end,
at least one first gas ring surrounding the boss of the valve stem end;
a valve ring surrounding the boss of the valve stem end and disposed forward of the at least one first gas ring such that the at least one first gas ring is disposed between the front-most portion of the valve stem end and the valve ring;
at least one second gas ring surrounding the boss of the valve stem end and disposed forward of the valve ring such that a portion of the valve ring is disposed between the at least one first gas ring and the at least one second gas ring;
a valve threaded portion for receiving the boss of the valve stem end and having a threaded portion; and
a valve rotator coupled to the valve threaded portion for adjusting the flow of gas.
