1. A mounting system comprising:
a device case comprising a first set of magnetic elements arranged in a first pattern; and
a first mount comprising:
a first body defining a first mount surface; and
an insert:
arranged within the first body;
defining a central cavity and a set of receptacles arranged in a second pattern about the central cavity;
comprising an induction coil:
housed within the first body; and
configured to supply charge to a charge-receiving element of a mobile device installed within the device case;
comprising a second set of magnetic elements:
arranged within the set of receptacles; and
configured to transiently couple to the first set of magnetic elements of the device case to align the induction coil with the charge-receiving element and transiently retain the first mount surface against a rear face of the device case; and
configured to:
shield the induction coil from the second set of magnetic elements; and
focus a magnetic field output by the induction coil toward a surface of the device case aligned with the charge-receiving element.
