1. A disconnect tool for use in a subterranean well, the disconnect tool comprising:
an electrical motor;
a support member configured to displace linearly in response to the electrical power applied to the electrical motor;
at least one piston configured to apply a biasing force to the support member; and
a weak link,
in which the electrical motor is configured to part the weak link in response to electrical power applied to the electrical motor.
