7. A system for control of motorized systems for retrieval of boat fenders, comprising:
a computing device comprising a memory and a processor;
a plurality of programming instructions stored in the memory and operating on the processor, and configured to deploy or retract boat fender or fenders, wherein upon retraction or deployment of the fender, the system is configured to detect failures to retract in full or in part.
