1. A method of testing powder bed material for contamination, the method comprising:
printing a three-dimensional printed object using a process that includes applying a fusing agent to a powder bed material to form the three-dimensional object from a portion of the powder bed material while leaving a leftover portion of the powder bed material, wherein the powder bed material comprises polymer particles and wherein the fusing agent comprises a first pigment reactant; and
determining whether the leftover portion of the powder bed material is contaminated with the fusing agent by contacting a sample of the leftover portion of the powder bed material with a detector solution comprising water and a second pigment reactant, wherein the second pigment reactant is reactive with the first pigment reactant to form a colored pigment indicating contamination of the sample with the fusing agent.
