1. A device suitable for layer-wise producing 3D parts comprising:
a construction platform;
a construction space over the construction platform;
a particulate construction material in
a coater for applying the particulate construction material into the construction space in layers for building a feedstock having a top layer;
an absorber in
a printer for selectively applying the absorber onto the top layer of the feedstock; and
a construction container having side walls surrounding the construction space;
wherein the device is temperature-controllable for high-speed sintering, wherein the device includes a stationary overhead lamp for heating the applied layer of the particulate construction material to a temperature in a sintering window of the particulate construction material and two or more sintering lamps that move over the feedstock for selectively fusing the particulate construction material that is selectively printed with the absorber;
wherein the absorber enhances the absorption of radiation relative to the particulate construction material;
wherein the printer includes a greyscale print head, wherein a data transmission is effected by the use of a polychromatic raster bitmap and an electronic system of the print head considers bits of the bitmap as greyscale information.
