1. A collar member for a guide extension catheter comprising:
a base portion defining a proximal end of the collar member;
a distally extending portion defining a distal end of the collar member, the distally extending portion extending from the base portion and comprising:
an angled extension connected to the base portion and extending distally away from the base portion; and
one or more extension members connected to the angled extension and extending distally away from the angled extension.
