1. A fiber-SAP particle comprising:
a superabsorbent core particle; and
a plurality of fibers attached to the superabsorbent core particle, wherein at least one of the fibers is at least partially embedded into the superabsorbent core particle; and
wherein the fibers comprise fibrillated fibers.
