1. A mattress for use with a patient support bed, comprising:
a head section and a seat section;
one or more air bladders located along the patient support bed, the one or more air bladders providing a patient support surface; and
the one or more air bladders includes a head bladder located at the head section of the mattress and a seat bladder located at the seat section of the mattress,
wherein the head bladder inflates substantially more than the seat bladder and moves a chest of a patient outwardly relative to the position of the chest prior to the head bladder inflating, by boosting lumbar support when the head of the patient is elevated from horizontal,
wherein the mattress is a low air loss mattress,
wherein the low air loss mattress includes a low air loss and alternating bladder system that includes a plurality of independent low air loss and alternating pressure mattress sections.
