1. A packaging assembly for storing a bioprosthetic heart valve, the packaging assembly comprising:
a valve holder configured to hold the bioprosthetic heart valve and comprising a shaft having a shaft width; and
a clip configured to receive the shaft of the valve holder;
wherein the clip comprises:
a body having an outer periphery and opposing inner edges, the opposing inner edges defining a slot in the body for receiving the shaft of the valve holder, wherein the slot is open at a first end of the body and extends, with a varying slot width, along a longitudinal axis of the body, from the first end through an interference-fit area to a docking aperture; and
a compliance feature in the interference-fit area of the slot adjacent to the docking aperture;
wherein the slot width between the opposing inner edges of the body in the interference-fit area is less than the shaft width;
wherein the slot width between the opposing inner edges of the body decreases from the first end of the body to the interference-fit area;
wherein the compliance feature comprises a cutout adjacent to each of the opposing inner edges such that each of the opposing inner edges defines a beam within the interference-fit area; and
wherein the beam defined by each of the opposing inner edges has two ends, each of which is fixed or simply-supported.
