1. A percutaneous transmyocardial jet perfusion device, comprising: a cooperating trocar and a cannula device for the perforation and cannulation of the left ventricle of the heart of a patient or animal in need of such treatment, wherein said cooperating trocar is initially secured within a stopcock; a fluid reservoir charged with a quantity of fluid, wherein said quantity of fluid is maintained in a chilled state; a portable pump; and a testing syringe, wherein all cooperating elements portions of the cooperating trocar and cannula device are housed within a sterile closed system incorporating a flexible sheath in which said cooperating trocar can advance and retract.
