1. A method for processing data for determining a location of a wireless user equipment (UE), the method comprising:
obtaining one or more known in advance reference signals;
isolating, from other signals in a frame, one or more symbols carrying corresponding ones of the one or more known in advance reference signals;
extracting one or more resource elements or one or more I/Q samples from the isolated one or more symbols; and
sending the extracted one or more resource elements or one or more I/Q samples to a network entity for determination of the location of the wireless UE based at least on the extracted one or more resource elements or one or more I/Q samples, and the one or more known in advance reference signals.
