1. An apparatus for wireless communication, comprising:
at least one processor; and
a memory coupled to the at least one processor, the memory comprising code executable by the at least one processor to cause the apparatus to:
detect one or more impairment conditions; and
determine a plurality of waveform parameters to adapt in response to the one or more impairment conditions, wherein the plurality of waveform parameters comprises two or more of: a subcarrier spacing (SCS), a waveform type, a channel equalization technique, a modulation technique, a modulation coding scheme (MCS), a phase noise mitigation technique, a bandwidth size, a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) configuration, a maximum number of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) layers, or timing parameters; and
a transmitter configured to signal the plurality of adapted waveform parameters to a user equipment (UE).
