1. A method of providing a filar antenna element comprising:
providing a first capacitor, the first capacitor electrically coupled between a first end of a first conductor disposed above a ground plane and a feed point; wherein
the first capacitor either receives a first microwave signal to be radiated by the first conductor or receives a second microwave signal from the first conductor.
