1. A glass-based article comprising:
a glass-based substrate comprising opposing first and second surfaces defining a substrate thickness (t);
a central composition at the center of the glass-based article comprising a K2O content of greater than or equal to 0.3 mol % K2O to less than or equal to 4 mol % K2O, and a Li2O/Na2O molar ratio of greater than or equal to 0.65 and less than or equal to 1.2;
a fracture toughness corresponding to the central composition in the range of greater than or equal to 0.7 MPa*sqrt(m) to less than or equal to 1.3 MPa*sqrt(m); and
a peak tension (PT) greater than or equal to 73 MPa.
