1. A vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly, said vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly comprising:
a dual mode illumination module;
wherein said dual mode illumination module comprises a first light emitting diode (LED) operable to emit visible white light when electrically powered;
wherein said dual mode illumination module comprises a second LED operable to emit non-visible light when electrically powered;
wherein, with said vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly mounted at a side portion of a vehicle, and when the vehicle is parked and said first LED is electrically powered, said first LED emits visible white light to provide visible ground illumination at a ground region at least partially along the side portion of the vehicle;
wherein visible ground illumination by said vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly at the ground region is locked-out during movement of the vehicle;
wherein, with said vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly mounted at the side portion of the vehicle, and when said second LED is electrically powered, said second LED emits non-visible light to provide non-visible illumination for a camera viewing exterior and at least sideward of the vehicle; and
wherein non-visible light emission by said second LED is not locked-out during movement of the vehicle.
