1. A surgical forceps comprising:
a drive pin;
an outer tube defining a longitudinal axis;
a first jaw pivotably connected to the outer tube, the first jaw including a pair of flanges located at a proximal portion of the first jaw, each flange including a track receiving the drive pin;
a second jaw connected to the outer tube; and
an inner tube located within the outer tube and extending along the longitudinal axis, the inner tube including a pair of arms extending from a distal portion of the inner tube, the drive pin extending at least partially into each arm of the pair of arms, and the inner tube translatable within the outer tube to drive the drive pin along the tracks to move the second jaw between open and closed positions; and
wherein the pair of arms are located laterally outward of the pair of flanges, and wherein the pair of arms laterally overlap the pair of flanges.
