1. A method performed by a terminal in a communication system, the method comprising:
identifying configuration information on a plurality of logical channel identifiers;
identifying a resource for transmitting a scheduling request of uplink data to be transmitted, based on a logical channel identifier for the uplink data; and
transmitting, to a base station, based on the identified resource, the scheduling request of the uplink data for requesting an uplink scheduling for the uplink data.
