6. A user equipment (UE) configured to operate in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:
a transceiver; and
at least one processor coupled to the transceiver and configured to:
receive a radio resource control (RRC) message,
identify whether a secondary radio link control (RLC) entity for returning to a split bearer operation is configured by information included in the RRC message and identify whether an amount of data associated with a primary RLC entity and the secondary RLC entity is equal to or larger than a threshold related to the split bearer operation, in case that more than two RLC entities are associated with a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) entity of the UE and a packet duplication is deactivated, and
transmit a PDCP protocol data unit (PDU) using the primary RLC entity or the secondary RLC entity based on the amount of data associated with the primary RLC entity and the secondary RLC entity being equal to or larger than the threshold related to the split bearer operation and the secondary RLC entity for returning to the split bearer operation being configured by the information included in the RRC message,
wherein the primary RLC entity belongs to a cell group different from a cell group of the secondary RLC entity.
